"You should enunciate more" - What happens when you sing with teeth problems....
HI GUISE, I ACTUALLY HAVE SOME NEWS 8'D;;
For the past three years or so, I've gotten a lot of criticism - both good and bad - that has helped me mature as a singer and musician. However, the BIGGEST critique I always got from different people was that I had a problem with my enunciation.
And.. for the past three years, I've always given the same answer: it's a problem with my jaw.
WELL, I finally went to see a dentist for an orthodontics consultation a few days ago, and as it turns out... it's more than a jaw problem.......

The People's Warmth - ＊ageha Debut Indie Release - 1st Utattemita Album
THE DAY HAS FINALLY COME.
I'M RELEASING AN UTATTEMITA ALBUM. * A *
A few months ago, I saw Pokemon Reorchestrated, one of my FAVOURITE fan composers of all time, post a link to his Kanto Region album on Facebook... on a new site.
This site is LOUDR, and it's designed specifically for cover artists that want to make a living off of their derivative works. The site's team contacts the original composers, obtains permission, and decides on loyalty payments to help make BOTH sides of the party earn money from BOTH of their works.
At the time, the site was still in Beta, and not available to the public. However, just recently, the site made its public debut and invited mailing-listed musicians to join their roster.
I'll be joining them with my first acoustic-English cover utattemita album.
For those of you who are new to the concept of utattemita or any of the -ttemitas, allow me to explain.
utattemita is Japanese for "I tried to sing". Traditionally, on the Japanese video sharing site, NicoNicoDouga, anything uploaded into this category on the site presented amateur covers done by faceless - but named - musicians of already-existing songs.
When the Vocaloid producer community hit its peak in 2007 with producers like ryo(supercell/EGOIST), Hachiouji-P, and kz(livetune), the amateur singers of utattemita videos were also given a platform to perform these songs that were originally performed by vocal synthesizers. Many have gone on to major labels such as UMAA and Sony Music, but there are a handful that preferred to stick to the online indie Vocaloid music scene.

UNPLUGGED @ KLIP x MiniComi Cosplay Fashion Show!
Hi guys! Making another concert announcement this time! 8D
My band, Ryouko, will be having another show at the upcoming KLIP x MiniComi Cosplay Fashion Show at K-Fever Karaoke in Richmond at 6:30pm! Doors will open at 5:30pm, so be sure to get there early and get settled down! >w<
But, Ryouko's not the only one doing a performance for this one...
I'll also be doing a solo, 15-minute, unplugged/acoustic set at the event as well. o u o
To be quite honest, I'm kind of nervous, because it's been a while since I've done a solo live show with my guitar. OTL I'll do my best!
The playlists for both the Ryouko set and the solo set are going to be a surprise! >w<

Ryouko @ Anime Evolution 2013
Hi again!
Most of you know by now that I spend a lot of my time in the music community with my band, Ryouko. August will mark the band's first anniversary, where we first debuted on the outskirts of the Vancouver Convention Centre at Anime Revolution 2012, and recorded our very first MV ("Just Be Friends") at the University of British Columbia during Cos & Effect 2012.
With the return of Anime Evolution at the end of this month, Ryouko will actually have a stage on the roof of the SUB building at UBC on Friday, June 28th.
We're in the program, too! 8D
Hopefully the pamphlet will describe more about what we're about besides "Ryouko - band" ; A ;'' OTL
Be sure to RSVP to the event here! (Event page is still under construction because BOMHAT has Provincials, I think. OTL)

Twitter Users, get ready for Tourette!
On Wednesday, June 19th, 2013, the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada will be taking over Twitter handles to simulate how a person would act if they had Tourette Syndrome.
"Wednesday from 9 o’clock on tweets will come out from your twitter handle with the equivalent of verbal tics. You won’t know when they’re coming and you won’t know what they are saying and that’s to mimic the way that real verbal tics happen,” said Cathy Wylie, president of the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada. The automated tweets will come out with a link to surrenderyoursay.com so followers can find out more."

Sakura-Con 2013 + Ryouko

OR FOR THOSE THAT HAVE STUMBLED UPON IT. 8D (HELLO~!)
My band, Ryouko and I will be at Sakura-Con 2013, performing on March 29th, the FRIDAY of the convention!
It will be an acoustica live set, as well as our FIRST EVER American performance~ 8D
Even if... we don't actually have a stage... and there's a chance of us getting wet from rain. ; u ;'''
BUT IT'S OKAY. WE'RE USED TO IT. 8'D;;
So, please, drop by~ We will be having an open jam session as well, so if you happen to play an instrument or sing, please come and join us~
But, no egos. o no I've seen 'em before, and I don't like 'em.

ARC Summer Festival - LIVE SHOW~!!
Yatta~! It's been confirmed!
I'll be performing live (omg, first solo show~ kyaa~!) at the ARC Summer Festival on July 21st at the SFU Convocation Mall in Burnaby.

The event is hosted by the Simon Fraser University's Altered Reality Club (SFU ARC), and this will be their SECOND year hosting this event in coalition with local geek event organization, IRL Events. (http://irlevents.com)
Look for me on the main stage! The event starts at 1pm, and will go until late, with a late night dance beginning at around 7 or 8pm. I'll be there as Ato the Pikabunny as well. (Don't know my table number, but I shouldn't be hard to miss. :'D )
